• All of our bookings are done through www.studioshui.com using our online scheduling system. Our online calendars are always up-to-date and show the latest availability and pricing.

    • Your booking slot includes time to set up, tear down and clean up. When scheduling your rental time, be sure to book adequate time for the above.

    • When booking, you will be asked to choose a session for total number of people. This includes everyone who will be inside the studio space during the entire duration of your session. Please be sure to book accordingly.

    • When you complete your booking, you will promptly receive an email and/or text message with booking details, studio policies and check-in information.

    • On the day of your booking, you will receive an email and/or text message with your booking reminder and studio access code.

    • Online bookings are for photography, videography and social captures only. If you would like to host an event, please email us direction at hello@studioshui.com to discuss details.

    • All shoots require 50% deposit when booking, and to be paid in full the day of your reservation.

    • Cancelled bookings will be offered as studio credit for future bookings. We do not issue refunds.

    • To reschedule your booking, you must cancel within 24 hours of your start time and rebook a new appointment.

    • No-show appointments will not receive any studio credits or refunds.

    • Rental times include set-up, tear down and studio clean up, so please plan to book accordingly to be mindful of other guests. The booking time begins and ends promptly at your designated booking time. If you are late in vacating the studio, there will be a $50 overtime fee.

    • Do not drag furniture around the studio - all furniture must be lifted. All furniture needs to be placed back where you found it at the beginning of your rental time.

    • To keep our studio furniture and floors clean, we ask that you use the sticky pads located around the studio to remove excess dirt from shoes prior to stepping on set.

    • The snack station and items in the mini fridge are free for clients to use. Please discard of trash and clean up any messes before leaving the studio.

    • There is a security camera installed for security/safety purposes. This camera is not actively monitored.

    • Our studio is not fully soundproof, so please keep music and conversations at a reasonable volume.

    • Our studio cannot be used to shoot pornographic content nor may it be used for lewd or pornographic behavior.

    • Smoking or vaping (including recreational drugs) is not permitted in the building.

    • Active flames are not allowed in the studio, with the only exception being birthday candles. The flame must be put out as soon as you are finished shooting.

    • Glitter and confetti are not allowed in the studio. If this is brought into the studio, the Renter will be charged a $100 cleaning fee.

    • Animals are not permitted without prior authorization.

    • Failure to respect the studio rules, other renters or building can result in immediate termination of your booking and possibly a permanent ban from booking.

    • Our studio is located on the second floor and can be accessed by both stairs and elevator.

    • The building has individual bathrooms located directly in front of the studio entrance.

    • 24 hours before your reservation, you will receive an email with a link including information on how to access the studio as well as studio rules.

  • There is free parking located directly behind the building and a large lot across the street.

  • Wi-Fi is included with your rental. The username/password for wi-fi is located on the entry table.

  • BACKDROPS & FURNITURE

    • All items in the space may be used during your reservation.

    CAMERA & LIGHTING

    • We do not provide lighting or camera equipment for rent.

    • If you are looking to rent any equipment, we recommend booking through Midwest Photo.

    • If the studio is left in a messy state, you will be charged at minimum a $50 cleaning fee.

    • Please do not step on the furniture.

    • If you would like to use the available furniture, please lift to move and do NOT drag items.

    • No open flames, dry ice, sparklers or smoke machines are allowed at the studio.

    • No glitter or confetti are allowed at the studio.

    • If you are shooting a cake smash session, please bring floor coverings and clean up before leaving the studio.

    • If any studio equipment or props (furniture, floor, cords, props, curtains, V-flats) are damaged during your session, you will be asked to reimburse the cost of the damages.

  • When booking, you are required to read and sign the Studio Rental Agreement in order to complete your booking.
