Hi there, I’m Phey (faye)! I’m an operations-minded creative with a lifelong love for photography and videography.

Growing up in a big Chinese, Laotian and Thai-blended family (I said big family right?), there was almost always someone behind a camera. Documenting the little moments of everyday life became second nature to us—and over time, that love for capturing memories grew into something I wanted to create for others, too.

I’ve always loved building and bringing ideas to life, which is how Studio Shui came to be. Inspired by my own cultural background, I wanted to create a space that celebrates Asian-inspired design while giving creatives a place to bring their visions to life.

Beyond the studio, I especially love capturing memories for families. As a mom to two little boys, I know firsthand how stressful it can feel to show up somewhere new, hand your kids over to a stranger, and hope they cooperate for the camera. I want your experience to feel comfortable and genuinely like you—whether your little ones are perfectly posed or running around doing their own thing.

My goal is simple: to create a space where you can feel inspired, have a little fun, and walk away with photographs that remind you of this season of life exactly as it was.
